I received an ARC for an honest review. Loved this. Yes. Loved this! Gritty. Raw. Dark. Violent. MMA fighting, which is always bloody and brutal. Gangsters, fixing fights. Austin Aquila is an MMA fighter on the rise. His specialty is submission rather than knockout. He wants a shot a the title fight. Marketing wants a story so they want him to get married, a love story...He chooses a girl who works at the fights, not a glamour girl, but a fresh looking chick who is unaware of how sexy she is and of how much she wants him. Yeah, he's kind of arrogant and definitely a womanizer, different one every night. That girl is Skylar Cross, raised by a fanatic father who beat her if she so much as thought about a boy! A surprising well written book. This is the second book in this series and is it full of interesting surprises and plot twists, where does the series go from here? The characters are very complex with endearing moments. Only one request read the first book first to really understand all the characters but this is a stand alone novel and a very good one at that.
I read this in one sitting. The story grabs you and never lets go. I was a little put off by the H attitude toward sex, thinking women should beg him for it because he's just that good. So my rating is really a 4.5. I was able to totally connect to both the H/h and felt their emotions. This had a different story line than anything I've read lately, which was refreshing.
Sooo sweet how two damaged people came together. He was beaten as a kid and she was abused by her father for being a growing girl.

It starts off as a fake marriage and then ends up being real. He accepts her for her sexuality and she blossoms with him.

But his other life kidnaps her and he has to get her back.

There's a bonus surprise that really throws you for a loop and it's super sweet.

Kendall a reporter and Jace, let's say an alpha male in every sense of the word left me breathless and wanting them to stay together.

Submission Specialist is way better then all of my book i have read. Wow what. Book. I never thought Ada Scott could make me fall in love like Her other book Still a bad boy. Wow again. This book is so intense and with so much passion and suspense I cannot put it down. This book has made me want to read book one and two again I'm hoping there's a book 3 of this book is amazing I cannot wait again for her next book well done well done girl.. book one and two are my stop two favorite book boyfriend. Hehe. Nice way to make me fall n love all over again.
Austin is a fighter who also works for the mob by throwing somw fights. One day he needs his massage therapist after a fight but they are sick so he gets Skylar who he immediately wants. He does notice her purity ring. Then when an opportunity presents itself where he needs a bride only 1 person comes to mind.
Skylar is a student studying to be a sports therapist and to escape her father who is beyond strict.
However will Austin help her escape her life or will he be another obstacle in it?
Wow i loved this book. I couldn't put it down. It has combined to of my favorites MMA romance and Mafia together . Ada Scott did an amazing job with this one. I love when a book transmit emotion and this had it. Austin is an arrogant bad boy who is up and coming in the MMA fighting circuit. He takes pride in submission over actual knockouts thus title of book Submission Specialists. They are trying to make him his own brand and want him to marry so they can spin a love story. Skylar is a girl that has had a hard life with a crazy father. I felt bad for Skylar. She has no idea how things are going to change for her when she is with Austin. This story was intense and had passion, romance two unlikely people pulling together to rise above everything. I recommend this book excellent read.
Interestingly the first book in this series (?) came with this book, only the first book, Still a Bad Boy, is behind the second one, so I had to find the first book somewhere in there to read it first. Quite the accomplishment for a blonde lol. Ok the stories are tied together, these books really do need to be read in order for them to make sense. They are both dark, full of violence, sex that's off the charts and a bit of perversion. I think once its made clear that the girl is young, a virgin and totally inexperienced it doesn't need to be mentioned over and over about her 'teen' kitty, for lack of the real word used repeatedly. In spite of these negative comments, the books are good, the violence is totally believable. I felt the characters could have been more developed, the story line a little more developed. It went from Skylar and Austin getting into a fake marriage, sharing a few childhood nightmares and lots of sex and next thing you know they've fallen deeply in love. It just moved too fast. Thats just my opinion. I did enjoy reading both books, it was a pleasant surprise that both were in the one I thought I was getting. Did I mention the sex was over the top? holy cats.. wow, its hot!
